As part of a planned datacenter network capacity expansion, two Cisco Nexus switches (AGG01 and AGG02) are being introduced into the core-to-PE interconnect layer. Currently, Core05 and Core06 connect directly to PE02 and PE03 via individual 100Gbps point-to-point links. Following this change, all four routers will connect to the Nexus VPC pair via port-channels, providing additional 100Gbps PE ports and improved scalability for future growth. No customer impact is expected as traffic will be migrated hitlessly using port-channel bundling and VPC redundancy.
